FAQ's - Login Difficulties

General Information:
1. This website is best viewed on Internet Explorer 10 or later version, Google Chrome, Safari 5 and above, Mozilla Firefox 22 and above.
2. You need an active internet connection in order to use this website.

Q: I cannot sign into my account; I have forgotten my password:
A: Click on Sign In, then click on "Reset Password / Email" and complete the required information. The system will send you a "Forgotten Password Recovery" email containing a link. Please click on the link to reset your password. This link is only valid for 12 hours after which it expires.

Q: I cannot sign into my profile and I have forgotten / no longer use the email address I registered with :
A: Click on Sign In, then click on "Reset Password / Email" and complete the required information. We will send you an email with further instructions

Q: I am trying to register a new profile and the system says that my email address already exists:
A: This means you already have a registered profile. If you cannot remember the password: Click on Sign In, then click on "Reset Password / Email" and complete the required information.

Q: I no longer have access to my email address I registered with:
A: Please email candidates@erecruit.co.za and provide us with your name, surname, ID number, email address used to register and a description of the problem

Q: I have a different problem using the website:
A: Please email candidates@erecruit.co.za or call 0861 145 465 and follow the prompts for Support to explain the details of your query. Please note that our support team is only available Monday - Friday, from 08:30 to 17:30 (GMT 2) We will require the following information in order to assist: email address used to create your profile, ID number, contact number, desired email address you want to use going forward, and a brief explanation of the issue you are experiencing

Q: I have a different question relating to my job application
A: Please call the appropriate department at the Western Cape Government, or the contact person on the job advertisement that you applied to.

What to do if I get error messages?
1. Ensure that all required fields have been completed and are in the correct format.
2. Please refresh your computer or please try the process on another computer / browser
3. Please check your internet connection. The system requires a stable internet connection (3G or faster)
